Of late, I have been hearing a lot of negative remarks about these online data entry works and related websites. I have tried a few in the past, but basically they are a sort of affilaite programs, with no real data entry projects in there. But they are small sites. Nowadays even big names in this segment seems to have lost their credibility.

I cant tell you how good or bad or they, as I have never tried a paid program nor joined in any such network. It scares me when they tell that I have to go through a hell lot of training material and learn to use new tools. And after doing all this, I have to proceed on a trial and error basis, tweaking keywords, content, ads and whatnot. So essentially its not the sort of data entry we all think of. Its basically running PPC ads, using our own knowledge. They just guide you. You will have a share in the success, not in the failure.

When I first came across, such sites. I thought they were real data entry jobs. They will send me some hand-written manuscripts or scattered data, that I need to enter or format properly. Some people said I have to convert documents from one format to another. But the work never came.

It would save us from a lot of trouble, if these sites advertise themselves as ‘ Affiliate Ads Programs ‘ rather than ‘ Data Entry Opportunities ‘. It makes sense, since its not a data entry program, but promoting some products or services. Its not typing lengthy documents, but entering ads and paying for them.

Some people offer traditional data entry opps also. But they are a few. And they are not available to individuals. Its a huge work and almost mundane. Typically this is a work for small business, rather than for someone who wants to make money on the internet. Perhaps, thats why these ‘ ads data entry ‘ is flourishing. People want to make quick money, rather than typing all through the day to earn a few dollars. If your ad or affiliate program is a success, you can make money much quickly.

I am awaiting feedback from some of me friends who have been trying different programs to make money and also tring to get some real data entry work. I will update you when I get their feedback.
